In most cases, if you studied at a school that is recognized by Immigration Canada, you can receive a Work Permit that is equal to the length of the Study Permit,. Most universities, colleges and technical schools in Canada qualify. The Work Permit is limited to a maximum of two years, and you must apply while your current Study Permit is valid and no later than 90 days after graduation from the program. There is no way to extend the time if you are late.
