Mark W. Hundleby
Mark Hundleby obtained an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Victoria, majoring in modern European history. Upon graduation with distinction, he was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society. Mr. Hundleby obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2006.
During his undergraduate degree, Mr. Hundleby worked for the Ministry of Water, Land and Air Protection (now Environment) and the Ministry of Health. He was a part of the law co-op program during his law degree, and gained practical experience working for the Ministry of Agriculture, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal, and a local law firm. He articled with Velletta & Company and remains with them as an associate. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2008 and he is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
Mr. Hundleby was born and raised in Victoria. He has played on numerous recreational and competitive soccer teams. Mr. Hundleby also studied Shotokan karate for many years. Mr. Hundleby is interested in sports, martial arts, history, politics, literature, and strategy games.
Mr. Hundleby is interested in many areas of law, particularly civil litigation relating to employment and contracts, and assists his clients with a diverse range of issues. He has conducted or assisted on cases before the BC Supreme Court, BC Provincial Court (small claims, criminal court, and traffic court), BC Human Rights Tribunal, Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, BC Residential Tenancy arbitrators, and the Board of Referees (Employment Insurance).
